How Nara works

Nara notices the work you repeat, offers to take it, and does it in the apps you already use. It asks before it sends or buys anything.

How does Nara find work to take on?

Nara notices the tasks you repeat on your computer and offers to take them over. Each offer says what Nara saw, for example: “You copy invoice numbers from email into QuickBooks every Friday. Want me to take that from now on?” If Nara has not seen enough, it asks you to show it how you do the task.

Nara does not start a learned workflow only because it saw a pattern. You accept the offer first. Most AI tools wait in an empty chat box for you to describe a job. With Nara, you do not need to know what to ask for.

Does Nara do the work, or does it only give advice?

Nara does the work. After you accept a task, Nara works out the steps and carries them out in your apps. It reads the emails, fills in the spreadsheet, and prepares the draft.

Before Nara sends an email, posts, invites someone, or shares a file, it shows you the exact content and where it is going, and waits for your approval. Before a purchase, it shows you the exact charge and waits for your yes.

Which apps does Nara work in?

Nara works in your mail, calendar, files, spreadsheets, and the websites you already sign in to.

In Chrome, the Nara Chrome Helper lets Nara read pages and finish browser tasks that you ask for.

How long does setup take?

Setup takes one sitting. You install the app on a Mac or Windows computer, sign in, and give it the computer permissions it needs, such as screen and accessibility access. Nara walks you through each step and offers to connect accounts like Gmail.

One person can install it. There is no IT project and no workflow to build.

Does my team have to change how it works?

No. Nara learns your way of doing things in the apps you already use. There is no new system to roll out and nothing new for your staff to learn.

How does Nara learn our way of doing things?

Nara learns in three ways. Learning from your work is available on Mac today, and Windows support is coming.

What happens if Nara gets something wrong?

You see anything Nara sends before it goes, so a mistake reaches you first, not your client. Tell Nara what to change, and it adjusts. You can stop any task. If Nara cannot finish a task, it saves its progress and hands the task back to you.

Nara can undo many of its own changes. A sent email cannot be unsent, which is why sending always waits for you.
